A Moving Experience

Posted 10 Feb 2012

Edwaerd Muybridge was a British pioneer of photography. He captured movement through still photographs and reproducing it to study how animals and humans moved. Most famous was his zoopraxiscope, a device to display moving images which predated motion picture displayed on film.

Born in Kingston-Upon-Thames, the town put on a celebration of his work in 2011 with an exhibition at the Kingston Museum. The display was put on in conjunction with Kingston University and Us Design Studio, with Sound Print & Design supplying all of the printed material for the exhibition.

Here are a few images of the exhibition:

Design, production and installation of high
quality posters, display systems, signs and
artwork to suit all budgets and environments.
